At CORE, we believe that the satisfaction and problems we experience a rise in the context of our important relationships, particularly our partners and families. Working together in these important relationships is the key to the best outcomes. Our work is helping you with the important people in your life achieve an improved quality of life. Rather than being diagnostic, we understand problems in light of one’s development; the family’s development; the stage of life individuals and families are in; and how to address these problems in their present context. We recognize that these problems are emotionally driven by resistant habitual patterns and believe that improving emotional openness and flexibility leads to sustaining long term change. If we do this in the context of our important relationships. We believe the outcome is better and lasts longer.
Our clinical services include therapy for children (birth to 12 years); adolescents (13 to?); couples and families including family of origin consultation.Play therapy is a primary approach in our work with children and some adolescents. Adolescents and adults are seen together with members of their family and/or those close to them. Couples, typically, are seen together.
